Enrique Breccia

Enrique Breccia born in 1945 in Buenos Aires in Argentina, Enrique is the son of the famous illustrator Alberto Breccia. He followed his father footsteps while learning how to paint.

He adapted a few great classics to comic strips such as Treasur Island, Moby Dick and The River King. He published Lovecraftbased on a Rodionoff scenario, and the Swamp Things series for DC Comics.

From his meeting with Marya Smirnoff was born the fantastic saga of the Sentinelles, based on a scenario by Xavier Dorison.

The harshness of the totalitarian governments in his country, the constant troubles and insecurity will stay with him forever. His fantasies and sensitivity take him to the verge of surrealism.His Goya displays combined with the explosion of his acid colored palette are both surprising and striking.

The force of Enrique Breccia’s work can’t leave anyone indifferent.
